The working group instrumental analysis, field of research micro-fluidics & micro sensors is working with micro-fluidic and micro-sensor applications for analysis technology. Our aim is to develop a modular system for transport and control of analyte flows in micro devices and reactors for the use in biomedical-, bio- and environmental technology. The group consists of five employees: two Ph.D. students and three students who pass their internship or master work. At the moment we are working on optimizing and testing of a fluorescence-spectroscopic system to analyse component mixtures, a pulse-free micro peristaltic pump and a multi-spectral analysis system.
